Travel Europe and fall in love with its beautiful landscapes and rich cultural heritage. From Europe‘s largest country (Russia) to its small one (Vatican City) and the additional 49 countries in between, the continent of Europe is a vast landmass in the northwestern part of Eurasia. The most visited European country is France followed by Spain, Italy, United Kingdom and Germany but each of the 51 independent states hold a rich history, unique cultures and traditions, delicious food, beautiful landscapes and other gems that make each country worth visiting.
Europe‘s border is delineated by the Ural Mountains in Russia, the Caspian Sea and Caucasus Mountains and the following countries (listed in alphabetical order) comprise the continent: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom (UK) and Vatican City (Holy See).

I was frustrated when the Wi-Fi died. My trip to the Great Blasket Island was hinging on the availability of a small boat, and I was now unable to contact the owner. However, after a ten-minute jog to the harbour in Dunquin, I was welcomed on board – the result of a last minute cancellation.
Hiking in Scotland and discovering this strikingly beautiful country has become a dream for many hiking enthusiasts. There are plenty of hikes to choose from and no matter what difficulty, Scotland is always up for the challenge.

Portugal lies in the southwest corner of Europe on the Iberian peninsula. Its mostly Mediterranean climate, flavorful cuisine, and the charm and friendliness of its people make it a place to visit again and again. As we dream of the days when we can travel again, I am treasuring my memories from its capital city.

Switzerland is known for its beautiful and dramatic landscapes. But there is more than just the natural aspect to it. Some of its most famous places have served as great inspirations for authors and movie directors. One such place is the incredibly picturesque valley surrounding Lauterbrunnen, a small village deeply nested within an alpine mountain chain.
Rumi. That is one of the first thoughts that would cross your mind when you visit Istanbul. When you google Istanbul, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Market, the Blue Mosque would be the topmost tourist attractions on the list.
Delphi, Greece is well-known for one thing in particular: it is the location of the famous Delphic Oracle. This oracle had a great deal of notoriety in ancient Greece due to the fact that travelers from all over the Mediterranean would make their way there to listen to the utterances of the deity Apollo.
Though rough around the edges and often overlooked, many travellers have a soft spot for Lisbon’s sister city Porto.
Although Denmark has a not entirely unfounded reputation for being on the expensive side, this doesn’t stop many travelers from heading to Copenhagen..
In the central part of Croatia, close to the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina, lies the Plitvice National Park, one of Europe’s most famous and, by far the prettiest. This almost 300-square-foot area consists of a broad range of natural features, such as turquoise water, deep green forest surroundings, limestone canyons, and an impressive series of 16 cascading waterfalls.
An estimated 30 million visitors per year make London the most visited city in the United Kingdom. Red telephone booths, Tower Bridge, and the allure of a royal family sighting make it the perfect first taste of what England has to offer, but why stop there when there are so many beautiful places to explore just a short ride away?
