They have interviewed luminaries including Maya Angelou, Ken Burns and Rick Steves, and their journalism has appeared in AAA World, the Miami Herald, The Lens, DETOUR and Island Soul. The Black Travel Summit recognized the Fitzpatricks as Black Travel Journalists of the Year.
