Michele C. Bisceglie is a seasoned executive leader whose career bridges the nonprofit and for-profit worlds with rare fluency.

As Principal of Butterfly Communications LLC and through a series of high-impact staff roles, she has built a reputation for converting ideas into measurable results — whether raising critical funds for mission-focused enterprises, driving growth and revenue for worldwide membership networks, or revitalizing brand strategies for global companies.

Her nonprofit credentials run deep. As Chief Development Officer at Historic Charleston Foundation, she reversed a midyear budget deficit, exceeded two consecutive annual fundraising goals, and led the effort to secure a $490K National Park Service Civil Rights Grant to rehabilitate a historic Gullah Geechee hotel. Her work with multiple Boy Scouts of America councils has raised significant operating, capital, and endowment funds, while her consulting engagements have included feasibility studies ($26M) and capital campaigns ($6.5M) for organizations focused on economic development, education, conservation, sports, and international women’s rights.

Equally at home in the for-profit arena, Michele has delivered integrated marketing communications, business development, and sales initiatives for global law firms, professional services companies, executive associations, and government contractors. Her fractional work — including serving as Executive Director of the Legal Sales & Service Organization — demonstrates an ability to execute, not just advise.
