Travel journalist and Toronto-based Greek food tour operator Jim Bamboulis of Travel Mammal joins World Footprints to share the vibrant culinary scene and rich diversity of Toronto, Canada. Jim tells us that we can experience Greece in Toronto and essentially eat our way around the world in the city.

Jim Bamboulis has over 20 years of media production experience in the broadcast, digital and social media spheres. For 16 years, Jim was a Sportscaster, Talk Show Host, Field Producer and Content Producer for several national Canadian TV networks. Simultaneous to his broadcast career, Jim transitioned to the digital space in 2008, producing, directing, and hosting two travel docs for Lonely Planet, becoming a freelance food and travel photographer, writer and videographer for many reputable organizations, including Chevrolet, Trivago, Tourism Toronto, Copenhagen Tourism and Athens Authentic Marathon. In 2011, Jim established Travel Mammal, a digital media company, that works with several local, national and international travel brands and tourism boards to promote travel, food and cultural experiences worldwide. In 2017, Jim started TravelMammal Tours, a food tour company that welcomes Guests worldwide and showcases food experiences in Toronto’s Greektown. In 2020, Jim reestablished Fact Up, a travel podcast that welcomes Guests to talk travel, food, culture and experiences.
