Diving and dining with whales at the Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest aquarium, offers one of the most extraordinary scuba diving experiences. Conducted in a very safe and responsible manner, this dive ensures the protection of the animals with a strict “no touch” policy and the presence of three dive masters among the dive party.
Imagine swimming with dozens of different species, from the largest fish in the world, the whale shark, to hammerheads and sand tiger sharks. It’s a totally awesome experience!
During a travel writer’s conference in Atlanta, Georgia, Tonya and Ian from World Footprints enjoyed a unique dining experience among the Beluga whales. Tonya then hopped into the water to scuba dive with whale sharks and other fascinating species. The dive showcased the incredible biodiversity of the ocean and the meticulous care taken to maintain a safe environment for both the divers and the marine life.
