Norway is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe, with its amazing countryside, mountains and fjords. You can also check out the Northern Lights from here. Soon, there will be another reason to check out the country. If you love sea creatures, Norway will soon allow you the opportunity to see whales up close without ever leaving land.

The Norway attraction is called “The Whale,” which will take place in the northern part of the country. It’s about 185 miles north of the Arctic Circle, which means the water is cold and has lots of squids. This means whales can be seen relatively easily.

The Whale” attraction is set up in Andenes, a small town on Andoya Island. Visitors can check out the spectacular views of the area archipelago and enjoy the up-close whale encounters without the need to get in the water or on a boat. The town is already famous for its whale-watching, seeing an average of 50,000 visitors a year.

The construction is slated to be finished in 2022, but there has been no official opening date set as of yet. The building will be 4,800 square feet that tie right into the landscape. It will house several offices, a store, exhibitions and a café. People who visit “The Whale” attraction can check out the different exhibitions to learn more about whales. They can also learn how to better protect life that live in the waters.

Once “The Whale” has opened, visitors can go to the observation deck (which will be on the roof) to take breathtaking pictures of the North Atlantic. There will also be a tide pool and stepping-stones that will enable visitors to see the area.
