Revered travel magazine Conde Nast Traveler recently conducted a reader’s choice survey and compiled a list of the top 10 friendliest and top 10 unfriendliest cities in the world.
Topping the ‘friendly’ list is Florianopolis, Brazil; Hobart, Tasmania; and Thimpu, Bhutan. The top unfriendly cities are Newark, N.J.; Islamabad, Pakistan; and Oakland, Calif. Only one U.S. city made the former list, while five made the latter.
